Central Brighton Branch

As a result of the 2022 Boundary Review, from 2023 Pavilion Labour has a new Central Brighton Branch (or CBB).  The CBB’s boundaries largely reflect its predecessor SPNL Branch.  For the first time in Pavilion, branch members in two wards – the newly created wards of Round Hill and Westhill & North Laine –  voted to meet together in this joint Central Brighton Branch and campaigning activities are ongoing.

Despite Labour’s brilliant wins across Brighton and Hove at the May 2023 City Council elections, currently there are no Labour councillors representing either Round Hill ward (as you can see here) or Westhill & North Laine ward (as you can see here).  We have plans to improve upon this, which we will do with your help.  Our thanks go to our great Labour candidates – Most Ara and Yassin Hassan in Round Hill and Tom Chatfield and John Cooper in Westhill & North Laine – and to everyone who contributed to our fantastic 2023 Labour manifesto.

You can message and follow Round Hill Labour on Facebook here .

SPNL 1After the local elections, we expect to return to roughly monthly meetings.  Previously, the old SPNL Branch alternated between Monday or Thursday evenings, usually 6.30pm – 8.30pm, and Saturday mornings, normally 10.30am – 12.30pm.

We also hold regular campaigning activities and other events, with our pop-up street stall in the North Laine and other parts of the wards.

Thanks to everyone who gets involved in our campaigns.  Come along to one of our activities soon!
