Hollingdean and Fiveways Branch

Hollingdean and Fiveways Branch Labour Party has been created as a result of the 2022 Boundary Review, and is a new branch of Pavilion Labour from 2023.  Parts of the old Hollingdean and Stanmer branch have been blended with parts of the old Preston Park Branch to form our new branch and campaigning activities are ongoing across the ward ahead of this May’s local elections.

Following Labour’s success in the May 2023 local elections in Brighton and Hove, three Labour councillors have been elected to represent Hanover and Elm Grove.  Congratulations to Mohammed Asaduzzaman and Bruno De Oliveira, who we expect to be brilliant Labour councillors for our ward, as well as to Councillor Theresa Fowler on her re-election – we already know Theresa’s the best!  Read more about Mohammed, Bruno and Theresa here, find the result for Hollingdean and Fiveways ward here, and find our fantastic 2023 Labour manifesto here.

Follow and message our branch on Facebook here and also follow Councillor Theresa Fowler.

We hold regular members’ meetings and campaigning activities.  All meetings start at 7.30pm and are often held online.  More usually, venues alternate between either St Richard’s Church Hall or City Gate in Hollingdean.  At other times you may find us running a street stall at Fiveways, or helping other Pavilion Labour friends with one of our town centre stalls.  Our members also support Action For Rail campaigning at Moulsecoomb station.
