Hanover and Elm Grove Branch

Hanover and Elm Grove Branch Labour Party, known to us locally as HEG Branch, covers the well-defined neighbourhoods of Tenantry, Elm Grove and Hanover, nudging our friends in Brighton Kemptown from the summit of race hill to sweep down Bear Road IMG_20170526_165649997_HDRhill to the gyratory and all along the Lewes Road to the edge of The Level and St Peter’s, including Brighton’s public cemeteries, crematoria and Brighton General Hospital.

We are now holding monthly meetings, with members also involved in other campaigning activities and events in between, including street stalls often around about The Level or the Open Market.

Following Labour’s success in the May 2023 local elections in Brighton and Hove, three Labour councillors have been elected to represent Hanover and Elm Grove.  Congratulations to Ty Galvin, Tim Rowkins and Maureen Winder, who we expect to be brilliant Labour councillors for our ward.  Read more about Ty, Tim and Maureen here, find the result for Hanover and Elm Grove ward here, and find our fantastic 2023 Labour manifesto here.

Thank you to everyone who gets involved with our campaigns.  Come along to one of our activities soon!
